You started going into such hallucinations, so your doctor/therapist prescribed you with these medication pills that will supposedly help you. You were supposed to take them twice a day.

Twice became into once a day and soon enough you were just a mess. Smoking, vaping, drinking, getting high and stuff. You wouldnt leave the house nor would you go to your doctor/therapist. So your doctor barged into your house with a new and improved robot, he called it "Gerard Way". It was very human like, which you thought was a bit creepy, but nonetheless might be helpful.

Your doctor read the instructions to you out loud right infront of your face, man you can smell the stench of his breath...

Apparently, this robot was supposed to help you take your medications, help you when you struggle, and much more. But the downside is that Gerard doesn't have any feelings, so he couldn't comfort you or... fall in love with you. The doctor soon left with a gentle goodbye before leaving you and the human looking robot alone.
