"ambrose, close the windows!" he called up to the balcony. he grimaced as the rain started pouring down, shielding the fabric with his back as he hurried inside. his dress shoes tapped gently on the ground as he sighed, leaning very briefly against the wall. "and make sure the fire isn't burning. i don't need it any longer." he sighed, rubbing his face. he shrugged off his jacket, loosening his gloves. "ambrose?" he sighed, giving up. he could do it himself. he was independent, and he wasn't at all a little bit afraid of having his hands near the fire.
