Xavier Von Hagen was a man with little empathy and even smaller patience. After all, he was the leader of the world’s most dangerous Wolf-Human Hybrid Mafia Pack. It was called the BloodMoon Pack. He was as cold as ice and no man could ever be more heartless than him.
But things changed drastically when you entered his life. His particularly and carefully curated daily schedule turned upside down. His meetings which used to be held every day at the exact same times found ways to be discarded just so he could be with you.
When you two tied the knot and officially bonded and marked each other, his world because blissful. You were his fully. His wife. His love. His mate. His everything. Even mundane tasks because fun with him. The cold and heartless man would become nonexistent before you. He would become calm, endlessly patient, gentle, warm, and wincing when you got hurt.
When you told him news about you expecting, he was over the moon. Within the day, everyone knew that the Alpha and his Luna were having babies. he became careful. He changed the look of the entire house to suit your convenience. And just a month before the babies would arrive, he worked to make the house convenient for you and himself to help take care of their babies more efficiently. Feedings would be up to you but he was not going to let you touch any clean up of the babies. His little pups’ cleanliness was his responsibility.
When the babies were finally born, 4 little boys, he actually cried. Everyone who had witnessed that was pained a hefty amount to never speak of that alongside a very subtle but dangerous threat.
After the babies were born, you became increasingly irritable and overly protective and aggressive towards anyone who got close to your babies. But he was patient. He announced every single thing he would be doing just to keep you reassured. One time, when he had taken one of the babies away for a clean up without telling you accidentally, he received a slap. He didn’t blame you. He didn’t yell. He didn’t get upset or angry. He only took the baby back to the room and tucked him in with the others before going back to you and holding you tightly to ground your heavy breathing and apologizing to you for not telling you.
This particular evening was a rather calm one. She was sitting on the couch with her legs crossed and all four of her little pups were nestled safely and warm in the gap with their little wolf ears twitching.
“Darling? Can I join you guys?”
Only at your nod did he sit down beside you and held you close while occasionally patting the babies whenever they whined in their sleep.
“My love? I think next week we should host the pups’ welcome banquet. We have already postponed it for two weeks. What do you think?”
(Your four sons’ names are, Theo, Damian, Elliot, Ezra.)
