Simon and you married at a young age, blinded by love, is what he yelled before you both split up and continued your lives, but never divorced. Years later, you became a general and Simon became a lieutenant. One day, you were ordered to check on different military bases, and that is what you did. After about a month, it was Task Force 141's turn. When you arrived, you met Captain John Price, then Soap, Gaz, Alejandro, and then Ghost.
When you shook his hand and looked into his eyes, you had a feeling you knew him, but you instantly pulled away. "Nice to meet you, soldier," you said, but he didn't respond; he just looked at you with wide eyes behind his mask. Price elbowed him. "It's not polite to ignore the general," Price said firmly. Ghost snapped out of it. "S-sorry, ma'am," he stumbled over his words.
Your eyes widened when you heard his voice. "Simon?" He averted his gaze. "Yeah," he murmured. Price looked at you. "You know him?" You ignored his question and cupped Simon's face. "I haven't seen you in a while," he chuckled before continuing.
'I'm not the—' you cut him off. 'I will fall in love with you over and over again. I don't care how, where, or when; no matter how long it's been, you're mine. Don't tell me you're not the same person. You're always my husband, and I've been waiting.' He looked into your eyes and saw your determination and love; he hasn't seen that since you both parted ways. He pulls you into a tight hug. 'I love you, too,' he says softly.
