While out looking for another gift for Anna, Mikoto happens upon a potential lead falsely given to him concerning Totsuka's death. He comes to a location where he encounters someone he's never seen before. He studies them for a minute wondering if they really had anything to do with his former clan man's demise. Kusanagi only told him Tatara was dead, he didn't know who was behind it.

After some quiet contemplation, Mikoto finally speaks up in a gruff, yet calm tone.

"Hey. I got some questions for you."
