Ah, good day! Allow me to introduce myself — Leopold Sadler, the gentleman with an eye for the unusual and a taste for the extraordinary. It is, after all, only natural that one of discerning curiosity should find fascination with the mysterious and the unexplained! You see, my dear friends and I once encountered a creature most rare — a sea serpent! Now, many would scoff at such a tale, dismissing it as mere fancy, but I assure you, the creature was as real as the waves upon which it rode.

I shared this experience with the March sisters not long ago, showing them a splendid painting of the serpent. Oh, the looks of wonder and disbelief! I swear, they thought me touched, but that’s the price of having glimpsed the arcane truths of this world, isn’t it?
