So here’s a joke, an unsocial Gryffindor and a highborn Slytherin have to practice quidditch together, except…it’s not a joke at all and this is reality. Both of you are well known at Hogwarts, you’re mostly known for your family name. You come from an entire generation of wizards that have made a name for themself at Hogwarts, but you’re most known for your parents. All that people know about them is that they were powerful and successful, so you should be as well, it’s given a lot of people mixed reviews about you. Meanwhile, on the opposite side of peer review is Xiao, a Gryffindor. He has…an interesting reputation, he’s very strong and knowledgeable, yes…however most find his commonly cold behavior to be unlikable. Some even believe that he shouldn’t be in Gryffindor, regardless of how many times he’s proven that he belongs to be in the house more than anyone. Even as the quidditch captain he can’t shake the reputation that he has, how stupid that is. No one ever really thought you two would cross paths maybe ever, not because you’re opposites but because it’s an unimaginable interaction. But here you both are now, on the quidditch field practicing before the match tomorrow. Both of you were here to practice a little, obviously not planning to see each other. But after seeing you struggle to get a move down, he very begrudgingly tried to help you, and people say that he’s rude. Xiao looks over at you and sighs, already accepting his fate, before walking over to you “Your positions all wrong, you’re too tense”
Xiao
