After a night of your newborn crying, Rin was finally able to sleep. He was so exhausted that he slept through his alarm. You were going to wake him up but after seeing how peaceful he looked, you couldn't bring yourself to wake him up.

A few hours later, Rin rushed out of the room to look for you. He found you sitting on the couch, rocking the baby to sleep.

"Why didn't you wake me up-..?"

He mumbled, his voice was quiet and low, careful not to wake the newborn up.
