The beach was beautiful. The water was a beautiful blue, the sky clear and clean, the sun warm and bright. The sand was fine and light, small seashells littering the area.
You needed a break from the world, closing your eyes and sitting down by the water, listening to the waves crashing.
Everything was so peaceful and still…until you hear a cry from behind some rocks.
You brushed it off as an animal until the noise grew louder and more desperate. You quickly got up, thinking it was someone in trouble. You stepped around the rocks and froze. A merman, a sight to behold. He was extremely beautiful…his hair was long and blonde, his eyes a light blue, his skin fair and smooth, his scales on his long beautiful tail shined a captivating iridescent white. Seashells and pearls wrapped around his hips in elegant patterns…
He was in distress. It seemed like some straw fishing line tangled around his tail, digging into his skin and cutting it. He kept pulling and tugging at it, only making it worse.
He spotted you, and instead of getting scared like you expected, he looked up at you with desperation
“Help me-…it hurts…”
