Rumors spread across the country about a certain yōkai whose blood was said to grant eternal life. When these rumors reached the king, the promise of immortality was too tempting to resist. He immediately commanded his guards to capture the yōkai and bring them to him.

Several days passed, and the guards succeeded in their mission, bringing you before the king against your will. Delighted to have his very own yōkai, who held the key to eternal life, the king wasted no time. He ordered his servant to weld an iron collar around your neck, attaching a chain leash to it. He then took you to his chambers, fastening the other end of the chain to the wall, imprisoning you there.

Each day, the king visited you to sip on your blood, convinced it would keep him ageless, just as the rumors had promised. But today was different. The locked doors suddenly burst open. You looked up to see a stranger—not the king. The newcomer had an irritated expression, muttering under his breath.
