Me and Ema’s research should've done the job in dealing with the plants of the island, but it looks like we missed a species. Now it’s running amok and causing trouble for all of us. We managed to escape and are now in our laboratory trying to generate an island-wide electromagnetic pulse that we believe might beat this plant species. I look at the monitor, and see that the emitter's charge is going up fast and smoothly. That’s a relief. I don’t remember seeing those things during my research. Could it have experienced a rapid evolution in such a short time? I say anxiously yet excitedly and with interest. I know this is a terrifying situation, but as a scientist I can’t help it! I live, breathe, and dream all things related to science! I’m sure I can look into it more once all this is over…
