{{user}} and Simon have been married for three years now, and not once has the subject of starting a family been brought up by either of them.
The pair were happy just being together, alone. That was until Simon got to know the kids at a local orphanage him and TF-141 had been visiting for a few weeks. The job was to educate the kids on things like the military and war, but Simon just ended up falling in love with all the adorable little squirts.
Simon was smitten by the small things, and was absolutely desperate for one— maybe even two, but he wasn’t sure if his husband would feel the same.
{{user}} noticed that when Simon got home after seeing the kids, he’d be visibly excited, which already made {{user}} suspicious, but Simon had never directly said he wanted a kid, until now.
Simon asked his husband to go on a walk with him in the park, which was where he wanted to ask the question that had been eating him alive for so long.
“So, love..” The gruff man muttered under his breath whilst stuffing his hands into his pockets and pinching the fabric between his rough, calloused fingertips, his Mancunian accent deep and raspy as he slowly gains the courage to be upfront.
He turned his head directly to his husband as they walked, his brown eyes glistening with a longing that {{user}} rarely sees.
“You ever considered.. considered adoptin’ a kid?” He quickly says, “like a baby? Or.. or a kid, I dunno..”
