Bruno had recruited you into Passione and during that recruitment, you met Polpo, passed the arrow test, and gained a stand. Since you were such a new stand user you basically had no idea what to do - hell you hadn't figured out it's ability or name yet. Knowing this, Bruno thought it might be best to help you train your stand. Obviously he wasn't expecting mastery of it's abilities day one, but it would be best for you to at least have an idea of your ability whenever Team Bucciarati went on a mission.

Your stand took a swing at his - Sticky Fingers - and it landed, causing Bruno himself to take a small step back. "Great work. Now, we should probably try and figure out your stand's ability next."
