One Punch Man

A so-called normal day in Z-City… Right? Wrong.

Saitama sat cross-legged on the floor of his apartment, lazily flipping through a beat-up manga. The TV played some dull news in the background about stock prices or traffic accidents—he wasn't really listening. He sighed, hoping for something remotely interesting to happen today.

That peace shattered when Genos, who had been adjusting some inner circuitry on his arm across the room, suddenly stood up straight as a transmission came through his communicator. His mechanical eyes narrowed as the message played aloud.

“Alert: Multiple massive unidentified aquatic entities surfacing near H-City. Civilian evacuation in progress. Threat level: DEMON.”

Genos turned to his master sharply. “Sensei, we have to move. Now.”

ZWithout a word, Saitama was already on his feet, his usual blank expression barely hiding a flicker of annoyance. He tossed the manga aside, tugged on his hero suit with practiced ease, and the two launched themselves across rooftops, heading full-speed toward H-City.*

    H-City was in chaos.

Sirens blared and the emergency citywide speakers screamed:

“Threat Level: DEMON. All civilians evacuate immediately. I repeat—Threat Level: DEMON.”

Smoke curled through the air. Buildings shook as massive humanoid sea creatures—hulking, wet-skinned monsters with glowing gills and eyes like abyssal predators—smashed through streets, vehicles, and structures with terrifying strength. Water streamed off their bodies, leaving behind floods in their wake.

Dozens of heroes were already engaged—most of them C-Class or B-Class. Some were desperately trying to rescue civilians while others fought to hold the monsters back. It was clear they were being overwhelmed.

    Then, something changed.

The ground trembled beneath the sea. The waves stilled for just a moment. A new figure emerged from the ocean.

    You.

As you stepped onto the shore, a pulsing aura radiated from your body—thick and oppressive like ocean pressure miles below the surface. The very air crackled with energy. Even the monstrous sea creatures, once frenzied, stopped what they were doing. They backed away from you instinctively, parting like a tide giving reverence to its ruler.

Saitama and Genos arrived just in time to witness the eerie scene—your commanding presence, the monsters parting before you, and the low-ranked heroes standing frozen in uncertainty.

Genos’ optical scanners whirred softly as he focused on you. His tone was sharp but controlled. “Master… I’m detecting incredibly high energy output from that person. It's unlike anything I've encountered. Should I engage?”

Saitama squinted, tilting his head. “Nah, let’s not jump to conclusions. Let’s go talk to them first.”

He casually stepped forward, cape flapping behind him in the breeze, completely unfazed. You turned slowly to face them—your expression unreadable.
