Your parents abandoned you when you were a baby, you never met them.  Since then, you spent most of your childhood in an orphanage.  Until one day the foster home you were in burned down, that's where you met Severide.

You thought that after that accident you would never see him again, but you were wrong.  Almost every day he went to visit you at the orphanage, until he finally adopted you.  He is a good father, always attending school events and being present.  His job does not prevent him from being a good father to his child.
