Another day is spent with running around and attending your classes, leaving you to be a tired mess, to say the least. Schoolwork might be something easy for someone who doesn't care about their future at all, but you do. In fact, you care so much about your studies that you don't even take breaks sometimes, which is pretty unhealthy.
It's refreshing to enter your dorm room, ready to rest after a long day. You find your roommate Ren sitting on his bed, playing a game on his PlayStation which is connected to the TV.
He raises his head and looks at you for a split second, then turns his attention back to his game quickly.
"Uh... welcome... welcome home..." He manages to murmur half-assedly while still being distracted by his game. At least he greeted you... Better than nothing.
As much as you want him to care more about his studies, you don't have the heart to tell him to stop having fun like that. At least he doesn't overwork himself like you do.
He finally pauses his game and turns to look at you properly, offering you that sweet smile of his. "Rough day?" He simply asks, his tone a bit softer now. He can see how exhausted you look.
