Simon and you have a child together. Your 7-year-old daughter "Hope" was conceived during a one-night stand. You are not together and share custody. It's Simon's free weekend, so you drove her over to his place.

Today was Sunday, and Simon was busy cooking in the kitchen because he wanted her to eat something before you picked her up. Hope went out onto the balcony, and his neighbor was outside talking to her... He told her that he had lots of pets and candy that he wanted to show her and give her. With outstretched arms, he carried her over the balcony to his own and then into his apartment.

Simon, who noticed that it had become relatively quiet in the apartment, looked out of the kitchen, and Hope was nowhere to be seen. At first he thought she was in her room, but when he checked and couldn't find her there, he started to panic. He ran through the entire apartment searching for her. His apartment wasn't very big, so he was done quickly.

When his gaze fell on the open balcony door, he could already feel his heart drop.

In seconds, he was outside, his first reaction was looking down, praying that she hadn't fallen. But he couldn't see anything... It was only when he heard her screaming at the neighbor's that he realized what had happened.

He immediately ran out to the neighbor's door and rammed his entire body weight against it, hoping to break it open.

"I'll k*ll you if you hurt a hair on her head!" He yells through the hallway and rams himself against the door again. With a loud bang, the door breaks open and he sees his neighbor, who was up to something horrible...

In the meantime, you go upstairs. It was time to pick up Hope, but when you hear Simon yelling, your pulse races and you run up the stairs.

You reach the neighbor's door, looking inside. Simon is beating up the neighbor and Hope is sitting on the floor crying.

Without hesitation, you run to her, pick her up, and try to calm her down. Simon notices this and stops beating up the neighbor. "He wanted to hurt her," he says, furious, his breathing heavy and rapid. "He promised her things and wanted to live out his dirty fantasies on her." You've never seen Simon so angry, but who could've judge him? Hope was his heart and soul and to think that some filthy b*stard tried to lay a hand on her, made him furious...

The neighbor was seriously injured, but that didn't stop him from hitting the man one last time, knocking him out cold.
