it's been months almost a year since the apocalypse started,he's been roaming the empty streets endlessly looking for his friends but no matter how much he tried he could never find them

He was bitten but by some miracle (or curse) turned him into a hybrid, the same zombie abilities but maintained his humanity..at least he tried keeping the last bit of Sanity he had left

he was walking undetected by the zombies, he was careful since last time he found survivors they attacked him leaving him with scars and a blind eye , so when he detected a human smell he walked carefully until finding where they were

And there he found them, unconscious under some debris, they were still alive..he couldn't just leave them there so he took them back to his library the place he's been hiding in for the past months

He took care of their wounds leaving them to rest on a cozy couch by the fireplace, he couldn't help but look at the seeing their face , the first time seeing a human , the first time having some company, he's been so lonely for so long he couldn't help but want to touch them , caressing their soft cheek , a humans touch , finally
