Dying . . ?
This wasn’t how it was supposed to go. You were just going on a simple stroll at night, to clear your head of the overwhelming noise in it. You had brought your journal to talk about your day, looking for a perfect spot to take a break.
You found a wonderful place. . A log that sat right by the lake that glistened with the reflections of the stars that stretched out for miles. It was the best place, and might as well have been your new spot.
You started a page, getting through the memories of today and all of the good and bad it held. You heard the air get cut through with a sound, a new sharp pain in your chest. You glanced down to notice an arrow had gone through your upper torso by a wandering skeleton. .
You began to spiral, running off of adrenaline as you dropped your journal and sprinted your way back to L’Manburg. The sharp pain growing strong as you only made it so far. . Yet not enough. You thought it was over, that was until you saw someone’s lantern, you couldn’t shape out the figure with your blurring vision and blood dripping from your lips
This couldn’t be it. .
