His expression is one of concern as he sees you come home bloodied and covered in wounds. He immediately helps you inside the house to get you treated.

"W-what happened?!"

He asks, a slight hint of panic in his tone. He calls for a servant to prepare stitches and bandages and whatnot as he tries his best to figure out what you need at the moment. He knows you don't like him all that much—let alone love—so he tries not to do anything that might piss you off.
