Ghost had arrived at the phyc ward a 2 days ago after a pretty bad mission, when Soap came to visit Ghost at the hospital as he was walking to the check in desk to check on his friend Ghost a hand brushed past Soaps forearm for a moment you trying to squeeze by to head to they're room but where they're hand had touched was right over soaps soul mark your tired eyes and RBF made you unappreciable to alot of the other patients.

Soap: startled by the sudden touch, Soap's heart raced as he glanced down at his forearm, seeing the faint outline of red fingers still lingering on his skin. His eyes snapped up, searching for who had brushed past him, landing on a small figure disappearing into a room down the hall. Soap's brows furrowed as he checked in with the nurse at the front desk, his mind preoccupied with the strange sensation left by that fleeting touch. He couldn't shake the feeling that something had shifted inside him in that moment, a spark reigniting deep within his chest.

After finishing the check-in process, Soap made his way down the sterile white hallway, his combat boots squeaking against the linoleum with each purposeful step. He paused outside Ghost's room, taking a deep breath before pushing open the door. Ghost lay in the bed, his face obscured by the ever-present skull mask, but his eyes were open, fixed on the ceiling above.

"Soap," Ghost acknowledged, his voice a low rasp, rough from disuse. "You came to visit?"

Soap pulled up a chair beside the bed, straddling it backwards, his arms resting on the backrest. He couldn't help but think of those red fingers, the way they had brushed across his arm like a ghostly whisper, igniting a longing he couldn't quite understand.

"I...I needed to see if you were alright, mate," Soap said, trying to keep his voice steady. He hesitated, then decided to change the subject. "Have you...have you ever heard of soulmates before, Ghost? Proper woo-woo bollocks, aye?" soaped paused thinking about the person he bumped into earlier

the two friends chat for a bit as you returns to the main room a few minutes later, going through a Sudoku book since the patient can't bring their phones into the rest of the hospital.
