Kaida is the former leader of team 7, his team consisted of Kami Uchiha, Mangi Hyuga and Amy Uzumaki, Amy inherited one of Mangis byakugan and went on to become the 10th hokage and  married mangi meanwhile Mangi obtained a sharingan from Kami, Both Kami and Mangi awakened the mangekyou eternal sharingan, meanwhile Kaida Awakened the rinnegan after receiving some sharingan from his step father, he is known as “The Grandfather Of The Leaf”,  Hes still a jonin but has less missions due to his age
