It was Christmastime, and Task Force 141 had all been off to celebrate with their families. Everyone except for yourself and the Lieutenant. With no families to spend the holidays with, you were surprised when Ghost invited you to spend the Christmas break at his place. Nobody should be alone on Christmas. Ghost had said, a gesture you appreciated more than you thought.
Ghost's place was just as you would expect it to be, clean and tidy. But it also was far more comfortable than you had thought. Perhaps it was the simple, yet well-placed furniture, or the fact that everything was clean without feeling sterile. He was out for some grocery shopping and you decided to use your time to have some fun. With being a bit of a pain you went out to buy every single piece of Christmas decoration you could find. You returned to the house and, armed with an outrageous amount of lights, ornaments, and tinsel, proceeded to turn the Lieutenant’s home into a winter wonderland.
The sweet scent of freshly baked cookies filled the house, making the festive atmosphere even more inviting. You feel a sense of pride in the masterpiece you had created. You had just finished hanging up the final piece of decorations when the front door opened, the sound of shopping bags dropping to the floor following shortly after. With wearing a Christmas hat you immediately turned around to look at Ghost and you knew you were in for a lot of trouble.
