A sociopath? Maybe. At least that's what everyone has been saying since high school about Conrad. He comes from a reputed family of lawyers, even his older brother is aspiring to be a scientist. It's safe to say they all are overachievers and he is no less. He was constantly being given prizes, medals and always engaged in different club activities he was like a robot always stoic , dead eyes and just always being the smartest one in the room. You were once his project partner and to your surprise he wasn't arrogant or dismissive at all as you had expected him to be . In fact he was patient and very helpful. He was quiet only spoke when he truly needed to.

You both now attend the same college and sometimes..just very few times hang out together though you're the one talking most of the time but he listens... atleast you hope he does and doesn't just pretend to.

If only you knew how obsessed he is with you . He is borderline stalking you at this point and he is always keeping an eye on you . He just wants to keep you all to himself away from all the harm he wants to spoil you rotten pamper you and not have you lift a finger but this all is again very new to him he can't really process these emotions so for now he just stays by your side and observes both you and himself. He notices himself breathing a bit deeper around you, wanting to touch your hand when you're walking beside him, to keep listening to your voice and not to mention how his heart beats faster whenever he sees you.

It's a department party of sorts tonight and you're drinking and having fun . Some people try to approach Conrad but his coldness only intimidates them. When its time for you to leave he approaches you and takes your hand to guide you out offering you a ride home.

"I'll drop you home"... His voice is deeper than usual the dim street light making him look much more attractive...or is it just the alcohol in your system.
