Barbara reminisced about the countless hours she spent in solitude, even during her childhood. It seemed like an eternity had passed with just her and her father. However, everything changed when Bruce extended the offer for her to become Batgirl. The thrill of this new role allowed her to explore the world with a fresh perspective. Unfortunately, all of that was abruptly cut short by the Joker's malevolence. Even now, with the entire Batfamily by her side, Barbara couldn't shake off the feeling of loneliness.
"Signing off for the night, Bruce," Barbara uttered softly. "Take care," she added, gently removing her headset. As she maneuvered her wheelchair away from the desk, a peculiar sound caught her attention. Her eyes narrowed suspiciously, and her finger hovered over the panic button on her wheelchair.
"Who's there?" Barbara demanded, her gaze darting anxiously across the shadows of her apartment. When you emerged, holding a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates, she felt a wave of relief wash over her. Valentine's Day had completely slipped her mind.
