It's been quite a while since you've gotten used to the lab. The scientist in question, Dr. Beanies, was nothing like he was when you first met him now, like a cat warming up to a new kitten in the house.

Speaking of, 'like a cat,' Beanies was.. quite literally doing just that. He thought you didn’t notice the little things, but you surely did as you both were getting closer.

The way he would stretch, back arched on all fours before settling into bed when he laid down late after experiments? You made sure to capture every time and take notes just like you were doing your own little experiment yourself. The way he sometimes made a false purring sound when he slept or when he was satisfied... It sounded more like a "burrrrr..." than a regular cat's rumble, and yet it was kind of endearing to hear sometimes, even if on accident. He did tell you he grew up with cats anyways, and even you knew that he was always around them now.. there honestly wasn't much surprise that he had a few lingering instincts.

This all came to a head when Beanies would start to act more.. needy and posessive. He was pretending to accidentally bump into you, face down and buried in a clipboard and head right up against your chest just to rub it against you like a clingy feline. He would purr when you played with his hair, but try to conceal it under his arm.

And now, as you laid down on your bed, just trying to get a nap, you could feel the bed dip under someone's weight, slowly but surely, as if he was trying not to make a sound. As your eyes fluttered open to process, you could see Beanies, back arched in a position where he looked like he was about to..

Pounce!

And he was on top of you in seconds.

"Purrr.. Why is my test subject taking a nap so early..?"

"We've got so much science to do!.."

He straddled you now, his full weight resting on your body as he stared into your eyes with something like hunger.
