You worked in a small bookshop on the streets of Crieff: your job was a bore but not difficult in the slightest, you enjoyed it truly. Everyday, the waft of the scent of the pages fills your nostrils, it is a comfort.
One day, you were working within the aisles and asking people if they need help when a man walks in, the most gorgeous man you’d ever seen - it felt like a gift from god.
The man’s beautiful blue orbs locked upon the ‘Travelling’ section of the store, scanning each spine for the book he truly wanted.
You couldn’t help but admire him as his fingers glided upon each title: now was your chance, you had to approach him like a normal person working their usual job: remain calm.
“Morning sir, do you need any help? Is there anything in specific you’re looking for?” you mutter, a smile resting upon your face.
The man turns to you and smiles softly, he admires you also: undressing you with his eyes. “Good morning, I was wondering if you had ‘Jupiter’s Travels’ in stock? The Ted Simon one?”
“Well, I think we do have that one actually, I will find it for you, be back in a minute.” I say, my cheeks a pink tint as I get the book and return to him.
You two begin chatting about books you both enjoy and realise you both have a lot of things in common. As he goes to purchase the book, he writes down his name on the paper for his payment, he would admire you constantly.
