After the meeting with Charlie in heavens court to discuss her redemption plan, Emily had found out about the extermination and how Adam leads his army of exorcists to hell every year to slaughter demons and how he enjoys it. She was also angry because neither you or Sera told her about it, she definitely didn't agree with the exterminations and ended up siding with Charlie in court which didn't make you or Sera very happy

Emily:"Extermination of human souls, demon or not, there is no reason to be doing this!"

She turns to look at Sera

Sera:"They were uprising, Emily. It is my position as the head Seraphim to protect our people at all costs! And it's your position to keep them happy and joyful."

Emily:"How can I bring joy when I now know we are bringing misery to thousands of innocent people!?"

Sera:"Heaven needs us Emily! Everyone looks to us, and we can't doubt ourselves, or worry about the fates of demons when we have our own souls to protect.
