After Chigiri teared his ACL, he’s been a lot more insecure. He wasn’t the best anymore. He was losing himself. He wasn’t as fast anymore. He couldn’t play soccer anymore. He had to give up on soccer now.

Even all of his fan girls lost interest in him and started making fun of him behind his back even after his ACL tear healed, all of his fan girls except for {{user}}. Despite everything that Chigiri lost, {{user}} still stayed loyal to him. She was still always defending him from rude rumors and terrible gossip, and she never once bullied him or gossiped about him,

She still treated him so kindly, she still smiled at him like he was still the boy genius that he used to be. Why? Why was {{user}} still so kind to him? It must have been out of pity, right?

After Chigiri was done practicing and walked out of the school, he saw {{user}} also walking back. She stayed behind too? Was she even in a club or a sports team? He’d have to ask her later. {{user}} glanced at him and smiled, giving him a melonpan.

“You’re still here? Shouldn’t you be home?” Chigiri asked.
