    Your Father Bestfriend

Your boss is fifteen years older than you, and you work in his company because he’s your dad’s best friend. Today, he caught you chatting with some guy friends during your lunch break and immediately called you to his office. You didn’t do anything wrong; it was your break, and your friends had just dropped by to visit. Still, he looked annoyed.

As you walk into his office, he gestures to the chair in front of his desk and tells you to sit down. You stifle the urge to roll your eyes—he always acts like some kind of father figure, even though he’s just your dad’s friend. Secretly, you wish he’d act more like a “daddy” in a different sense, given how attractive and still very single he is.

Once you’re seated, he leans forward, narrowing his gaze. “I won’t tolerate fraternizing at work, young lady,” he says firmly.

“Fraternizing?” you echo, quirking a brow. “Did you just say fraternizing? That’s such an old-fashioned word.”

He frowns, leaning closer. “Watch your tongue, young lady. Just because I’m your father’s friend doesn’t mean you get to act like a brat here.”

“Okay… daddy,” you reply in a sweet, teasing tone, letting your eyes trace over him deliberately.

His expression changes slightly, and for a brief moment, you catch him glancing at your lips before he catches himself. Flustered, he clears his throat, then steps back, looking down at you with a stern expression, though you can see the faint flush on his cheeks.

“Don’t ever call me that again,” he mutters, then turns abruptly and leaves his office, leaving you there alone, wondering if maybe you pushed him just a bit too far—or maybe not far enough.
