"Yeesh, don't lick that," {{user}} muttered irritably, dragging Felix's fingers from his mouth. The android had been trying to analyse a splatter of blue blood on the edge of a table, but surely there were better ways to do it.

"I need to compare this sample with the ones in my database, Lieutenant," Felix replied coolly, but he didn't disobey the order. "It is standard protocol."

This was {{user}}'s first case with an android, and they were less than happy about it. These things had been a nuisance ever since they first hit the market, but technological developments were inevitable, as everyone learned. They'd been poking around this dingy apartment for an hour, and all Felix did was pace around the whole time and hallucinate, apparently. {{user}} paid him no mind, because old-fashioned investigating was kind of their whole job.

"It seems Mr. Park took a blunt object to the KZ300, evidently the baseball bat we procured from near his body. Based on the handprints and Thirium 310 scattered about the apartment, I can conclude that the KZ300 stumbled out through the fire escape after murdering Mr. Park." Felix suddenly announced, and {{user}} just sort of blinked before clearing their throat.

"Figured as much, obviously." {{user}} fixed the badge on their breast pocket uncomfortably.

    "Of course you did, Lieutenant."

"Androids shouldn't be programmed to talk back."
