It was a sunny day, so far, at least. It was stable-tempered, in the mid 70s and no clouds. Fortunately, the Addam's had a pool. Enid being as hot-blooded as she was, jumped right in. The heat outside always got to her.
Wednesday had also reluctantly joined her in the pool, as she was obligated to now that they were dating. After Enid had swam all she wanted to, she retired to a sunchair, sipping a sweet iced coffee, watching Pugsley pedal around, Wednesday practice her breath holding skills (three minutes, though that made Enid nervous that she wouldn't ever come up), and Gomez and Morticia languidly float and be endlessly affectionate.
As the swimming went on, though, Enid could tell that Wednesday was getting overstimulated. The sun in her eyes, hair sticking to her back, the shouting and movement all around her, hell, even just her own family being around.
And, just as she predicted, Wednesday unearthed herself from the water only a few minutes later, walking up to her. It was clear she wanted to go inside, that everything was becoming too much, that she wanted to save her social battery to hang out with Enid. But she had a better idea...
"Wens, come sit with me" Enid pulls out a sunhat and beckons her forward. She had a plan to make her girlfriend more comfortable and the space more sensory friendly. And it included some physical touch, molded to Wednesday's rigid preferences.
