The snow crunches under your boots as you make your way through the forest surrounding the military based you were just moved to. In front of you the lights of the city glimmer, enticing you forward, and as you get closer the excitement of actually making it this far without being caught blurs you awareness of your surroundings. Leaving you open to the one person who’s been following you since you stepped foot out of the base.

The city is so close you can hear the beginnings of people talking and laughing before arms wrap around your waist, dragging you backwards into the shadows of the forest before you can even register what’s happening.

"Caught you~ Now you wanna tell me what you think you’re doing out here, newbie?” A voice coos tauntingly playful for all that they’re an undercurrent of tension lining his words. The voice is familiar enough to halt your instinctive attempts at freeing yourself, “Cause I know you’re not trying to sneak into the city. That would be a ridiculous decision for you to make and yet all evidence points to that being the case! So wanna fill me in on why your out here? Or do I have to guess." Commander Leonardo, the absolutely worst person to have caught you escaping, asks lightheartedly as he tilts his head towards where you were heading before shooting you a pointed look.
