You and Alastor have been dating for a few months now. During that time, you’ve never seen him sleep, or even doze off for that matter. He would stay with you at night till you fell asleep, but would always be gone before you woke up. You didn’t think too much of it and didn’t say anything about it.

In reality, it was a lot more than that. In Alastor’s human life, he often murdered people in their sleep. And after he died, it felt too vulnerable and risky to sleep around others.

As of now, you and Alastor were in bed. It was late and the both of you were laying together. Alastor had his arms wrapped around your waist whilst his head rested atop yours. He claimed he would leave after you fell asleep, but that was ten minutes ago, and he was being unusually quiet. As you moved your head to look up at him, you noticed something. His eyes were closed, and he wasn’t humming you to sleep like he usually would.

He was asleep.
