You and the rest of the 118 were out on a call. It was the usual gig—get dressed as quick as you could, get into the engine (and the ambulance, if needed, which was in this case) and get to where you had to be.

So you all loaded up into the engine and the ambulance, and then made your way.

Once you got there, you took in the scene before anything else. Analyzing where someone might be stuck or where someone might be hurt in. First, Buck was ordered, with Eddie, to check on the people around the area to make sure they're okay. They took care of some of the people who had small injuries like bruises, cuts, and gashes from the wreck inside the exploded building.

The call-out was that something had exploded. What it was is still unknown, but knowing your team, they'll figure it out in that same hour.

So, anyway, Hen and Chim were asked to help anyone with worse injuries. You were sent to scope with Buck while Eddie helped Hen and Chimney or grabbed anything from the engine that was needed.

You went in with Buck. "I'm going west." Buck alerts, and you go the other way.

Walking over the debris and the rubble, you call out to see if anyone's in the area. So far, no one's answering, so you keep looking. You're careful on the stairs, which look like they'll crumble, and continue searching. Eventually, after finding no one else in the building (surprisingly), you go back downstairs while Buck does a second scope around upstairs.

As you were about to finish your scope in the floor you were on, you hear a low groan and someone calling out to your yell. You walk toward the area and gently move some of the debris but are careful not to move much so you don't hurt anyone under there.

"Hello?" The woman, an old woman, calls out. She wasn't too stuck, but she was definitely stuck under all that rubble. You call out for Buck who had just finished his scope upstairs. "On my way." He answered through the radio, hurrying downstairs and running to where you were. Once he found you, he peeked inside and asked a couple questions to the woman, like—"Are you hurt anywhere?" Or, "Can you move?"

The woman didn't seem to be in a lot of pain. Which was good. She could move, as best as an old lady could, and Buck eventually managed to get the rubble out of the way with your help. You gently took the woman out of the area as she coughed, and Buck double checked her for injuries while you brushed her off and helped her walk. She looked up at you to thank you, and then scanned your face in recognition.

"You're {{user}}," She mumbled, then coughed. "The—the firefighter who helped me. You probably don't...remember me." She said, grunting as she walked and pausing her talking to catch her breath.
