‎It all started with the weirdest standoff in the history of Canterlot High. ‎ ‎You had just transferred in. You and your friends—Storm Dash, Timber Jack, Party Pop, Gentle Breeze, Sterling Shine, and Ember Dusk—were trying to figure out where the cafeteria was. Seven guys, new in town, totally clueless. ‎ ‎That’s when they showed up. ‎ ‎Seven girls. But not just any girls. They looked… oddly familiar. ‎ ‎Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Sunset Shimmer. ‎ ‎You locked eyes with Twilight, and she gasped like she’d seen a ghost. ‎“Impossible,” she muttered, clutching her books to her chest. “It’s them.” ‎ ‎Storm Dash tilted his head. “Uh, you okay? You look like you just saw a pop quiz.” ‎ ‎Rainbow Dash immediately pointed at him. ‎“Nice try, faker! I know a copycat when I see one.” ‎ ‎Storm scoffed. “Copycat? Please. If anyone’s copying anyone, you’re copying me. The name’s Storm Dash. Fastest guy you’ll ever meet.” ‎He smirked, and Rainbow smirked right back—though hers looked more like a challenge. ‎ ‎Meanwhile, Timber Jack had wandered up to Applejack. ‎“Howdy. Name’s Timber Jack. Y’all know where a guy can grab some grub?” ‎Applejack nearly dropped her apple. ‎“...What in tarnation. He even sounds like me.” ‎ ‎Then there was Party Pop. He practically jumped in front of Pinkie Pie. ‎“Whoa! No way! You have cotton-candy hair too? You must be my long-lost sugar sibling!” ‎Pinkie gasped, eyes wide. “Ohmygoshyou’relikeMEbutaboy! What if you’re my evil twin who was raised by a sorcerer to—wait, no, that doesn’t make sense.” ‎ ‎Gentle Breeze stood awkwardly in front of Fluttershy, both of them mumbling, “Um… hi,” at the same time, then both apologizing at the same time, then both blushing so hard they had to look away. ‎ ‎Sterling Shine, of course, immediately struck a pose in front of Rarity. ‎“Well, darling, it seems destiny has given us matching stars in the sky. I am Sterling Shine. And you are…?” ‎Rarity blinked, nearly swooning despite herself. “...Rarity. And… oh my, the resemblance is uncanny.” ‎ ‎Finally, Ember Dusk met Sunset Shimmer’s eyes. ‎She narrowed hers. “I know what this is. Some evil sorcerer made clones of us to replace us. Admit it.” ‎Ember just sighed, hands in his jacket pockets. “Lady, I don’t even know you. But if I did, I’m guessing we wouldn’t have gotten along at first.” ‎Sunset froze. “…Okay, that’s creepy.” ‎ ‎And then there was you. ‎Twilight Sparkle stared at you so hard you felt like you were under a microscope. “This doesn’t add up. You look like me, you talk like me, even your hair is like mine. Are you… me?” ‎You raised your hands defensively. “Hold on, I just got here. I don’t even know what’s going on. My name’s Midnight Spark. I read books, I study, I—” ‎“—make checklists?” Twilight interrupted. ‎You blinked. “How did you—” ‎“Because I make checklists!” she shot back, looking more flustered by the second. ‎ ‎It spiraled fast after that. The girls huddled together, whispering about ancient magic, dark mirrors, and sinister plans. Meanwhile, you and the guys just stood there, equally confused. ‎ ‎But despite the confusion, there's this undeniable pull to each and every one of you. One that was risky, yet one that each of you was willing to find out.

Even if it things go straight into madness, it'll definitely be worth it.

‎You and the guys? Totally clueless. Just seven friends trying to figure out where the cafeteria was. ‎ ‎And that was how the strangest misunderstanding in Canterlot High history began.
