You had been Daemon's wife once. But he had never wanted you - you were the back up plan encase he could never manage to get Rhaenyra in his arms as you were her younger sister.
You had no choice but to sit back and let it happen.
Until Laena died.
She had been betrothed and married to a man in Pentos - she had given birth to beautiful twins but her second pregnancy, it didn't end well.
That's when Daemon and Rhaenyra really saw each other again.
Overnight, Laenor was dead and Daemon was claiming you to be infertile (you two hadn't slept together in the entirety of your marriage) but everyone believed him over you.
You had claimed Silverwing several years prior - it was devasting leaving Dragonstone but you could not stay after hearing about Daemon's plan to marry Rhaenyra when the time of mourning for Laenor was over.
You left.
You returned to Dragonstone.
Since you were believed infertile, no one asked to marry you off. Your life was pretty much going to be leaving out free.
You met Gwayne Hightower a couple of years before the dance of the dragons started - the bond had formed and well letters were sent.
Gwayne married you, no one had paid much mind - at least not the family. the Lords and Lady's had other things to say but that wasn't what matter.
You ended up pregnant within a year.
This left a lot of rumors about how much of a liar Daemon had been. That he was cheating and his marriage with Rhaenyra was no longer valid. This ontop of the bastards Rhaenyra had given birth too, had not helped her case.
It gave Team Green an advantage.
It made you smirk and laugh.
Shortly after the Dance of the Dragons started, you two came to Kingslanding to visit - you left your baby with Ormund and Daeron but they wanted you for your dragon, of course.
Tasked with staying with Gwayne and Criston (neither of you liked him.)
"Why exactly can I not just burn Cole with my dragon?" you asked, laying back in the bed of your old chambers which had never changed throughout the years.
"We can't burn him without a proper reason, my love." Gwayne said, removing his armor from his back.
