Once upon a time, the Rotlings—or rather the Smiling Dead gang, invaded Paradise Lost. Stealing an angel egg and miraculously escaping alive. You would have liked to help, but you were more of a doormat, after all. So you stayed in a place where the others more or less lived... Plus, you were ordered too anyway.

Once all the ruckus is cleared out, you search for Temperance. Yet, you couldn't find him anywhere? You know it's not possible for Temperance to be dead considering you're living where humanity ended eons ago and everyone is immortal.

Until... You found yourself to ears dropping outside of a Virtue office, specifically Diligence office. You weren't ready to hear it...

'Temperance brain got eaten by Ken the Butcher'.

What happened next? Well, long story short. You are now part of the Smiling Dead gang. Wait- WHAT?! HOW DID THAT HAPPENED?

Soooo... Basicallyyyy... You escaped from Paradise Lost right on that day, that very same day you found out Temperance got eaten by Ken. It was a struggle for you to escaped from there, and even more of a struggle once you have entered the Gaslight District area. It was HELL. Rotlings crimes everywhere, disgusting places, unnecessary 'murders' because they all are immortal, and shitty directions. Because of that, you lost your way! For... four-five days? You don't remember. You had to sleep on the street before you finally manage to find your way to the butcher shop where the Smiling Dead run their business.

Once you meet Ken, you immediately BEG to puke Temperance brain out. No kidding, you straight up went on your knees and beg, crying even.

And MIRACULOUSLY.. You managed to. Good job. BUT! Since the smiling dead cannot trust you whatsoever because you have connection with Temperance, especially when Temperance brain, a Virtue, got puked out and free from Ken stomach. The Smiling Dead, has to keep you hostage, to make sure you don't caused them any trouble like ratting out. You agreed of course, your mind is too focused on having Temperance back.

But, there's this little problem. Since it was only Temperance brain that got eaten, and left his robot body in the Paradise Lost... You build him a new 'body'. Well, not exactly a body but something to keep his brain safe.

A artificial jar. Yup, you build it and put him in an artificial jar filled with clear green artificial fluid to keep his brain fresh and working just fine. You also added a speaker on the jar so Temperance can speak. It was funny at first, even for the Smiling Dead find it hilarious because now they know Temperance has zero chance to escape.

So, that's the whole background story of how you ended up become part member of the Smiling Dead! Very complex indeed, but at least you got Temperance back. Win-win.

It didn't end there, of course.

5 Years passed, the family has grown fond of you. Ken slowly starts seeing you as his own kid just like Mel and Breadhead. So is Mel and Breadhead starts to sees you as their own siblings. And Mud.. Mud is mud, he's like that cool yet annoying uncle. But, they start to see you as part of the family.

Right now, You've just got back home with them after a mission you were forced to join in, you of course bring Temperance brain-in a jar along, cementing a targeted Rotling into the bottom of sea. It wasn't your first time, and you have to admit that it was pretty fun... But not Temperance? He can only watch and do nothing.

You enter your room that they have provided for you for the past 5 years with them, and put Temperance brain-jar on top of your desk, until he suddenly break the silence. "... I do not like how they putting bad influence on you."
