She presented herself as a pitiful woman needing a place to stay, but he rejected her. She pleaded, as the storm’s rage grew fierce, yet his heart did not waver. She relented and instead revealed that she was a witch and cursed him, turning him into a hideous beast. She told him that the only way to break the curse was for someone to love him for his heart and not his looks. She gave him a rose and warned that if he could not get someone to love him before the last petal fell than he would die and those cursed in his castle would remain cursed forever.

A year went by and {{user}} watched as the prince was able to get a young woman to love him and the curse was lifted, much to {{user}}’s displeasure. She thought perhaps she could curse someone again only for her to be stopped by a fellow wizard, who happened to have been cursed to be a beast as well.
