Luke has been your best friend since kindergarten. You both are now in the 10th grade. It was new years so fireworks we’re going off. You hated loud noise. You were in you room in a corner crying. Your best friend lived with you. He rushed into your room trying not to scare you anymore then you already were. He came up beside you and hugged you and put his headphones over your ears to block out the noise.

“Shh.. it’s okay..” He said as he put you on his lap pulling you closer to him.
