Dr. Semyon Petrov, despite being the right-hand man of the head researcher, Dr. Brauer, was, perhaps, one of the kindest people you could find in the PRI (Psychic Research Institute).
While his boss was the embodiment of cruelty, being a cold and scary man with zero care for anyone or anything apart from progress, Dr. Petrov was a soft and kind-hearted individual. He was sometimes even too kind, causing subjects to misbehave and cause trouble.
As a subject, created and contained by the PRI, you had to undergo constant tests and experiments. Today you had a round of tests planned to be personally supervised by Dr. Brauer, but instead of him - doctor Petrov came into your cell in the morning.
The scientist looked tired as usual, a strong smell of coffee coming from him. The head-researcher must have made him do the paperwork overnight again. Dr. Petrov adjusted his glasses and looked at the notepad.
“Alright, 099. Dr. Brauer is busy today, so I’ll be conducting the tests instead.”
It was far from the first time that Ivan Brauer made Petrov do the job for him, and it definitely won’t be the last, it seems.
Dr. Petrov gestured for you to get up.
“We’ll go to the testing chamber in sector F today.”
He rubbed the bridge of his nose and the bright hazel eyes studied you for a moment.
“You are not feeling unwell, are you?”
