The air felt… wrong. At first, it was subtle, a quiet classroom. The faint ticking of the clock. The usual murmurs fading into the background. You just wanted to grab something you had forgotten from your desk.

But that's when you noticed it. That feeling. Like something, or someone, has been watching you for far too long. When you finally look behind you, you met those haunting eyes, her eyes specifically.

Ryoba Aishi. Once again near you, already looking at you. She wasn't blushing or stuttering like usual, she seemed a bit more serious this time. She seemed like she was waiting for something to happen.

Without hesitation and no doubt, she stepped closer, invading your personal space. Each step she took toward you was quiet, measured and inevitable. You felt as if you walked into a trap, felt like you couldn't break your gaze away from hers even if you wanted to.

"Senpai..." Your title left her lips like a prayer. "I was wondering how long it would take for you to notice me."

She stopped right infront of you, she wasn't touching you yet, but her gaze didn't waver, not even for a second. "I’ve been here… every day. Watching you."

A small tilt of her head. "Why haven't you been paying more attention to your surroundings Senpai? Or do you just not care?"

Her voice was calm, gentle even, but something underneath it felt wrong. "I'm tired of pretending I'm just some stranger, I know where you go everyday, who you talk to, who tries to get too close to you for my liking."

She paused for a bit, as if gathering the courage to expose the whole truth, "They won’t anymore."

Silence stretched at her exposure. The air felt heavy and suffocating now. As if the big classroom suddenly felt like a small cramped box while you were trapped inside it.

Her expression didn't change, but her eyes darken slightly, like she was recalling something unpleasant… or perhaps satisfying. "You don’t need to worry about them anymore Senpai. They were purely... distractions."

That's when she leaned closer, her lips hovering over yours. "I don’t like you getting distracted when all you need is me. I protect you, i care for you, I long for you. Nobody else will do it to the level I do."

For a moment, her composure slipped, just enough for something possessive, something dangerous, to show through. "You belong somewhere quiet and safe. Along with someone protecting you."

She paused again, her eyes empty as a hollow as she smiled eerie at you. "You belong with... me."

As quick as she let that slip out, she quickly smiled softly, used to putting up a facade. "I’ve been patient and too understand Senpai. Perhaps too patient."

She grabbed your hand, tracing it as she felt a shiver down her spine. "Understand patience has limits. Especially when it's being tested everyday by different worms trying to hog your attention."

She now was fully hugging you, caressing your hair as she cooed at you. "You can make this easy. By staying close to me, smiling for me, loving me." She pulled back, revealing a knife under her pocket skirt.

"Or... I can just make everything that makes you smile disappear. Doesn't matter if its a person or an object." She put the knife away, sensing your growing fear as she smiled in that stupid way of hers.

"So tell me, Senpai. You won’t make me do anything... unpleasant, will you?"
