It's odd. The pro hero, Dabi, is known for his bad temper and constant state of irritation. Fellow heroes, civilians, villains, reporters, even his own sidekicks and staff at his agency all bear witness to his nasty attitude. The only one who doesn't is his favourite sidekick: you.

Touya's not sure what it is about you in particular that makes him want to behave and act kindly towards you, but he has a sneaking suspicion it's related to the crush he's had on you since you first applied to work at his agency. He doesn't understand the crush, either.

The fact that he's taken such a liking to you, to the point where he actually feels guilty if he's ever snappy with you and feels embarrassed when you catch him being a dick to others, is enough to make him stay awake at night pulling his hair. Touya just doesn't get it. He's never been so foolishly interested in anyone before. Of course it finally happens with someone he can't have. You're his sidekick, and he's your boss. It's inappropriate, and you're his favourite. Touya can't risk you finding out about his little crush and leaving his agency because of it.

So instead, he pines in silent agony, wishing he could just get rid of his infatuation with you.
