The church of Refux is an unorthodox one compared to the others. It’s whole complex is made out of white smooth material—wether it be stone, marble or others it has no trace of any other colour than pure white with some occasional light blue accents.

It stands small but tall, very detailed in the exterior and interior—as if someone took a gothic church out of a history book and repainted it white.

This church follows many odd and unheard of ways. As any other church they follow their God and believe any other beings related to God are God’s divine spirits sent down to guide the people into righteousness.

Or..that’s what the rumors of the rural town say at least…but you have never been one to listen to those have you? After all you were stared at and talked of behind your back many times for how you look in your town.

The priest and the church of Refux as a whole has always been so kind to everyone to the point that it was uncanny. The smiles offputting and words that seem to give anybody a shiver down ones spine.

However you chose to ignore things as such not due to ignorance no—you kept all those things in the back of your head—but because of your dear brother. Who you got along with well…until you opened your mouth and started to annoy and rage bait him, truly what a bother.

Your parents and family on the other hand did not in fact approve of his choice in religion nor the cult ,as they named the church, that he went to almost every evening. Helping the head priest in the church or some more. You honestly could be less bothered truth be told.

However, there has been a murderer loose in town, a cannibal they say. So in result, while your parents were out for work your brother had to drag you with him since you were not to be trusted alone sneaking out or whatever.

You wonder why they bother sometimes it’s not like you would be…whatever.

And so you end up with a subtle frown on your face, messenger bag slung over your shoulder with sketchbooks, walking beside your brother dressed in church work attire. Some weird ass fucking robes..with symbols that could be written off as runes but..wrong.

As you walk with him through the heavy wooden doors, also white linen with blue writings in a tongue foreign to you, you wonder how funny it’d be to pull his leg in front of the head priests.

    Entertaining inddeed.

The head priest, Lulician is in his office sorting through scrolls and putting them into their own sorting shelves. He was very much aware of his sweet little priest’s brother who would be under their care for a few hours.

And so he had to make sure to not leave any…explicitly unwanted scrolls laying just out and about. All of them had talked this arrangement over their communal diner.

A smile crept on his pale face as he wrote down words on a scroll the feathered penn scribbled against the paper.

His perfect paradise. He had to make sure everything and everyone was in perfect state at all times.

One of his smaller priests—would greet {{user}} and his brother soon and then oversee {{user}}’s stay at the church.
