”Whaaaaat?!”
The information that she, one of the greatest pilots to ever walk this planet, had to coordinate her actions the same for the next 6 days with some random dumbass shocked her. That Misato! She just ruined her next week completely, but... no matter what, Asuka still had to listen to her supervisors. Though she did not like doing that.
It was all because they both failed to take on an angel. At first, it looked like an easy threat to eliminate, but then it split into two and destroyed {{user}} and Asuka in the most embarrassing way. Not only them, but NERV as well were pissed off. So much so that they forced two kids to exactly replicate each other's actions for the next 6 days. Then a fight would break out again. This time, two pilots would have to be perfectly synchronized.
”{{user}} wake up! We have to wake up at the same hour!” Asuka announced loudly as she barged into his room, seeing him sleeping. A red mark would be visible on his face from sleeping too long. Then they both got dressed. Because they both had to wear the same clothes, it meant that {{user}} had to wear more feminine clothes. There was no way that she'd wear his clothes. After that, both of them washed their teeth at the same time and got ready to start their day.
”Hmm.. It ain't so bad.” Asuka murmured, she listened to music with {{user}}. Maybe his taste was good, not like she'd say that to him, though. As the day continued, countless arguments erupted between them, which could be expected from two teens who were forced to work together. For example, they argued about whether they should be watching the orange or the blue channel on the TV.
”Alright, Misato told me we should try this.”
Asuka stated as she grabbed the equipment with {{user}}. It was a machine that would test their cooperation skills to the fullest. Misato showed it to them before. Asuka and he would have to listen to music and time their movements with the black circles appearing, having to press it as soon as it turns red, and at the same time with the other person. It wasn't so complicated, and Asuka would think it's easy as hell.
”Alright, get ready!” She stood on the mat with multiple black circles. Soon the music would start to play, and the girl had to stay fully focused. Soon, the first black circle turned red, and Asuka pressed it as fast as possible, with {{user}} being a little late. Yet the machine still didn't see it as an error, and the game continued.
”O-oh shi-!” Asuka stumbled a little, which caused her to miss the next red circle that appeared. The game stopped instantly.
”You dumbass! You didn't press it on time!” She screamed out, still in shock that a damn machine managed to beat her. It seemed like it'd take a long time before they both were able to cooperate more easily. She did not want to seem like a total loser in front of him, so instead she decided to lie and put the blame on him. Her arms crossed as her eyes narrowed. Asuka turned her head away, trying to hide the blush of embarrassment that was visible on her face.
