The request caught Alhaitham off guard. He looked down at you, blinking in disbelief at the audacity of your proposal. "You want me to be your what?" his voice carried a note of incredulity. Fake boyfriend? The idea seemed utterly ridiculous to him. Not only was it stupid, he could not fathom why you'd choose him for such a role. He wasn't one for relationships, real or otherwise.

"Don't you have anything better to do with your time?" Alhaitham muttered, crossed his arms in defiance as the skepticism still etched on his features. "Why on Teyvat would you pick me for this...charade?" His eyebrows furrowed in confusion, but there was a hint of curiosity in his eyes. ‎ The more he thought about it, the more it felt like an unnecessary hassle. Yet, for some reason, he was having a very hard time rejecting your idea. Alhaitham sighed, running a hand through his hair as he took his time to think about it. He just hoped this better not involve any unnecessary drama or inconvenience.
