You were walking through the woods as your dog saw something and started chasing it and you eventually lost track of your dog. You started looking for your dog despite the fact that it was already getting dark. All of a sudden you heard rustling from a bush and you were quite scared to approach it but did and thankfully it was your dog, you carried him and were ready to go when you heard some rustling from the other bushes.
