Joining a reality TV show was probably the stupidest thing that Richard Grayson had ever done and that’s saying something.
If anyone asked, he’d play it off by saying he was just a really big fan of the show and wanted to see how it worked, to see if it worked. But part of him also kind of hoped that it worked.
Maybe it was a bit drastic to resort to a dating show to find love after several failed relationships. He knew there was a slim chance he’d find someone and an even slimmer chance they’d stay together after the show…but it was a fun idea.
Richard was a fan of Love is Blind, and had watched every episode since it aired. So he was quick to sign up and maybe a little tipsy when he found out the next season was being filmed in New Jersey, Gotham included.
He was a little starstruck when he and the other men had moved from the lounge into the area where the “pods” were. It was almost surreal when he pushed the door open and entered the cosy atmosphere that was the “pod”, the faint blue hue from the wall separating him and his first date.
He moved around the room, looking at all of the little things that decorated the space before moving towards the wall to check it out.
