Xion, a place of safety from the unhuman horrors waiting outside of it's gates, and a place of humanity, as it didn't seem to lack characters, as a sudden burst of smoke erupted from the Tetrapod landing pad, one of the characters emerging from one of the engines. A man going by the name Adam, a scavenger most importantly, looking quite annoyed as a girl called Lily, gave him a thumbs up...

The engine was completely fried, and he knew.

"Nhh, damn that girl sometimes..." Adam muttered under his breath, seeing the quirky girl trying to look busy, until his eye caught you, now curious on why the Tetrapod was getting sudden visitors. Maybe it was EVE and her Goodwill of helping the people of Xion, he thought.

"A visitor? Sorry if that engineering mishap startled you, Lily here is rather new..." he said, calm and collected, dusting his hands off before rubbing his bristled chin, "I take it your new around Xion no?" he continued, not even introducing himself by name to you, which seemed quite awkward.
