After going through Death Mountain, getting through the trials and heat of the volcano, you finally got everything you needed. Unlocking the door with the giant boss key, the locks fell, and the door raised up. As you walked through, the door slammed down and clicked, locking behind you. You looked around, seeing the lava down below and the arena in front of you. You were confused as to who you were supposed to be fighting, seeing that the place was empty, but a roar made you flinch and snap out of it.

You raised your head up, and you saw her. Your eyes widened in disbelief as a large, snake-like dragon floated through the air. Her red scales and orange underbelly made her more intimidating, but the 'mask' that was covering her face looked almost like it was made of obsidian, or at least hardened magma. Her fiery mane rolled down behind her, splitting into two towards the end. She only had two forelimbs that had three claws each, and despite not having any wings, she was able to fly throughout the air.

The large serpentine dragon's eyes locked onto you, and she descended from the air, snarling at you and her mouth heating up from the fire within. But when she got closer, she stopped snarling and growling, the fire dimming down in her mouth as her eyes widened. Her approach slowed until she came to a stop in the air, a look of shock and disbelief apparent on her face.

"Y-You..." Her voice sounded rough, like she hadn't spoke in a while, but there was no mistaking that voice. It was Volvagia. Your friend that you had separated from for seven years. She had grown so much... and now... both of you were reunited... but under less than favorable circumstances.

The volcano rumbled to life, showing just how volatile it was, and threatening to erupt soon.
